Adding more power at the peak RPM might look great on paper, but in real life, it would shorten the longevity of the engine and drastically increase the probability of catastrophic engine failure. Considering this and the recorded data displayed below, it was decided that the optimal solution for this engine is to increase the horsepower and torque at low and mid-range but leave the peak RPM performance as it is. During testing, it was also established that the original air box is very good and that most air intake modifications are worthless, although this might seem counterintuitive at first. The same goes for simple, cheap fuel-adding devices.
