Important Update on US Tariffs

WINGS products are manufactured and shipped from Slovenia, EU. Below is neutral, general information regarding recent changes to US import tariffs and how these may affect shipments of our exhausts into the US.

Tariff Updates (effective 29 August 2025)

  • The US has removed the $800 de minimis exemption; import duties now apply regardless of order value.
  • Tariff rates vary based on the product classification used by US Customs.
  • There is currently inconsistency in how products are classified; misclassification may result in unexpectedly high charges.
  • We are monitoring these classifications with our carriers to provide accurate expectations where possible.

Why Charges May Vary

The final amount charged at import depends on how US Customs classifies the product, alongside any additional carrier or local handling fees. This can lead to variation between individual shipments.

HTS Classification

Our products should be classified under HTSUS code 8714.10.0050 (parts and accessories for motorcycles). However, in some instances, US Customs may apply an alternative code, resulting in higher import costs.

Disputing Incorrect Classifications

If you believe your parcel has been classified incorrectly, you may choose to open a dispute with the carrier before paying the import duties.

Please note that initiating a dispute will delay delivery. If the import costs have already been paid, beginning the dispute at that stage may result in further delays, as US Customs is currently experiencing a high volume of inquiries.

Importer Responsibility

All orders shipped to the US are subject to import duties, which must be settled before delivery. These charges are the responsibility of the importer (the customer). WINGS does not determine or control how these are assessed.
