Important Update on US Tariffs
WINGS products are manufactured and shipped from Slovenia, EU. Below is neutral, general information regarding recent changes to US import tariffs and how these may affect shipments of our exhausts into the US. For information on shipping to other countries, please refer to our Shipping Policy.
Tariff updates (effective 29 August 2025)
- The US has removed the $800 de minimis exemption, meaning import duties now apply regardless of order value.
- Tariff rates vary depending on the product classification used by US Customs.
- There remains some inconsistency in how products are classified; misclassification may result in unexpectedly high charges.
- We are working with carriers, including UPS, to monitor these classifications and share accurate expectations where possible.
Why charges may vary
The final amount charged at import depends on how US Customs classifies the product, as well as any additional carrier or local fees. This can lead to variation between shipments.
What this means for customers
All orders shipped to the US are now subject to import duties. The import duties (tariffs) have to be paid before the package is delivered. These charges are the responsibility of the importer, and WINGS does not determine or control how they are assessed. We will update this page should any US customs regulations or EU–US trade terms change in the future.
Need assistance?
If you have questions about the duties applied to your order, please review the breakdown provided by your carrier. You may also contact us for general guidance at info@wings-exhausts.com.
For an estimate of duties before ordering, you can use the calculator at SimplyDuty.com. Our exhausts are classified under HTSUS code 8708.92.5000 (mufflers and exhaust pipes for motor vehicles). Please note this tool provides estimates only — final amounts are determined by US Customs and may differ.
Tip: Some customers have mentioned that paying duties online (for UPS) appeared slightly cheaper than paying them upon delivery. We have not received confirmation from UPS that this is always the case, but you may wish to try this option if available.
